The Saudi-Iranian War, also known as the Third Gulf War, the Great Middle Eastern War, and the War of the Middle East, was a military conflict in the Middle East that lasted from 2024 until 2027, although related conflicts began earlier. The conflict pitted a Saudi-led coalition and an Iranian-led coalition against each other.
